The Carrier 13 SEER Comfort Series Packaged Heat Pump’s Thermostatic Expansion Valve ensures peak operating conditions by monitoring refrigerant flow in this Carrier 13 SEER system. This Carrier 13 SEER system’s dehumidification feature is also included when combined with an optional Thermidistat Control.

The Carrier 13 SEER Comfort Packaged Heat Pump’s EnviroTuff base contains a high-tech composite material to resist rust and corrosion. This Carrier 13 SEER system’s drain pan is sloped to discourage the growth of algae, mold and bacteria.

This Carrier 13 SEER system’s optional AmorCoat tin plated coil is also available for superior corrosion-resistance compared to the standard copper/aluminum coil. The Carrier 13 SEER Comfort Packaged Heat Pump’s  optional electric strip heater provides an electrical resistance heating element to provide greater comfort levels.
