Many of the moving parts found in a reciprocating compressor are eliminated in this Carrier 13 SEER system’s scroll compressor, which operates in a circular motion instead of the piston-like motion of reciprocating compressors.

The Carrier 13 SEER Comfort HYBRID HEAT’s energy-saving blower enhances airflow using an electronically-controlled, programmable motor. The Carrier 13 SEER Comfort HYBRID HEAT’s thermostatic expansion valve monitors refrigerant flow for optimal operating conditions with this Carrier 13 SEER system. This Carrier 13 SEER system features a heat pump and gas furnace for consistent comfort and improved energy efficiency with the Carrier 13 SEER Comfort HYBRID HEAT.

This Carrier 13 SEER system’s optional HYBRID HEAT Dual Fuel Control enhances dehumidification and improves energy efficiency and comfort with the Carrier 13 SEER Comfort HYBRID HEAT. The Carrier 13 SEER Comfort HYBRID HEAT’s EnviroTuff base features a downward sloping base pan to improve drainage and inhibit mold, algae and bacteria growth.
